Annual Fire Extinguisher Certification
We provide required annual fire extinguisher inspections in accordance with NFPA 10 and Florida State statutes. Our permitted technicians carefully examine each extinguisher to ensure it meets all safety and operational standards. Once it passes inspection, we place a new service tag so you know your extinguisher is in service and ready when you need it most.
Six-Year Extinguisher Maintenance
Every six years, starting from the manufacturer’s date, fire extinguishers must be removed from service for maintenance as required by NFPA 10. We handle this process from start to finish, including full discharge of the chemical, complete disassembly, and a thorough internal examination. After inspection, we replace components as needed, recharge the extinguisher, and apply proper decals and a neck collar showing the service date before returning it safely to service.
Hydrostatic Testing
Most fire extinguishers require hydrostatic testing every twelve years in accordance with NFPA 10 and Florida State statutes. Testing begins with six-year maintenance, followed by filling the cylinder with water and pressurizing it to manufacturer-recommended levels. Once the extinguisher successfully holds pressure for the required time, it is properly labeled, reassembled, and ready for operation.
